Timothy E. Dinan, who was recently named a partner at Laddey Clark & Ryan, LLP, was one of 32 New Jersey attorneys named “New Leaders of the Bar” by The New Jersey Law Journal.
Of the New Leaders, the editors of The New Jersey Law Journal said, “They have already demonstrated their talent and dedication, and are building impressive careers for themselves, serving their clients, and leading the legal profession in New Jersey. The honorees come from a variety of backgrounds and handle a wide array of legal work, but each has made his or her mark, and shows promise for much, much more.”
Dinan and the New Leaders of the Bar will be profiled in the Law Journal’s Professional Excellence magazines and were honored on June 21 at its Professional Excellence Event at Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park.
Dinan concentrates his practice in litigation, especially personal injury cases involving permanent spinal damage, elevator malfunctions, DYFS negligence, insurance bad faith and coverage issues, and also appellate practice. He was co-counsel in a trial in which a man, who was permanently injured in a motorcycle crash, received a verdict of $19.3 million, the largest verdict in Sussex County history (surpassing a verdict awarded the previous year in a case where Dinan was also co-counsel). Dinan has tried cases across the state and country. He has been inducted into the New Jersey Personal Injury Hall of Fame Twice. Dinan received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University, a Masters of Education from Notre Dame and his law degree from Rutgers. He lives in Sparta with his wife Lindsay and their two children.
