Praise Bands to perform a free concert

OAK RIDGE — Several of the area's most popular Praise Bands will perform in a free concert event on Saturday August 18th from 3-8 p.m. at Grace Church in Oak Ridge.Already confirmed to play at the event, known as "#OneGathering", are Spirit, the Lord's Chords, the Seraph Project, and the Grace Band with the possibility of additional Praise Bands to perform. #OneGathering marks the third consecutive year there will be a Praise Band concert in the Oak Ridge area.
The first concert was a small performance at the Jefferson Township Gazebo in 2016.
In 2017 the event, known as "An Evening of Inspirational Music Under the Stars", featured three bands as well as a food truck from Uncle Bob's Bar-B-Q and was held on the grounds of the Freedom Church on Oak Ridge Road.
Buoyed by that event's strong attendance and overwhelming positive response from the audience and the community at-large, the area churches who coordinated the concert have gone all-out to create what promises to be an unforgettable inspirational evening for the entire family with even more Praise Bands and more food truck offerings.
People are invited to bring their blankets lawn chairs or anything else to make them comfortable. Attendees may bring their own food and drink but are requested to not bring alcohol. While admission to #OneGathering is free any donations to help local food pantries are welcome. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will go on as planned inside Grace Church's comfortable sanctuary.
