Lorna L. Berger

Lorna L. Berger, age 82, peacefully passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center. Born in the Wykertown section of Frankford to the late Clarence Hill, Sr. and Lillian (Brown) Hill, Mrs. Berger grew up in Sussex County before moving to Hackettstown. She was a self-employed private home care LPN. Mrs. Bergerwas a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lafayette.
Mrs. Berger was predeceased by her son, Michael Morrison; her sister, Beverly Longcor; and her brothers, Clarence Hill, Jr., Ronald Hill, and Glendon Hill. She is survived by her husband, Alfred Berger; her sons, William Morrison and his wife Joan of Dingmans Ferry, PA and Guy Morrison and his wife Lori of West Virginia; her daughter, Debra Morrison of Tucson, Arizona; her step-son, Brad Berger of Dover, Pa.; her step-daughter, Pamela Johnson of Framingham, MA; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Interment to follow at Beemerville Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made in Lorna's memory to the Beemerville Fire Department, 227 Route 519, Wantage, NJ 07461.
