    June 1Thomas C. Ratliff, 50, of Budd Lake was sentenced to three years of probation with eight days credit for time served to run concurrent with Morris County probation. Ratliff must also undergo a Substance Abuse Evaluation, submit a DNA sample, comply with all terms of probation and pay fines and fees totaling $1,205.00. In addition, Ratliff must pay $93.00 in motor vehicle violation fines.
    He pleaded guilty on April 23 to one count of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (a Third Degree Crime).
    Ratliff was represented by Public Defender, David Nufrio and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Rachelle Jones.
    June 8Darren C. Reap, 54, of Sparta was sentenced to two years of probation on condition he undergo Mental Health and TASC evaluations and follow all recommendations, submit to random urine monitoring, submit a DNA sample and pay $2317.00 in court fines and fees.
    He pleaded guilty on April 17, to false public alarm and false report to law enforcement, both crimes of the fourth degree.
    The defendant would place numerous calls to 9-1-1 emergency dispatch without the purpose of reporting the need for 9-1-1 services. He also called Andover Police Department to report a third party harassment, when the harassment did not occur.
    Austin Puetate, 21, of Bayonne was sentenced to three years of probation on condition that he maintain full-time employment, undergo a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations, and pay $205 in fines and fees.
    He pleaded guilty on Feb. 26, 2018, to aggravated assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, a crime of the fourth degree.
    The defendant was involved in a large fight at a Hopatcong home. When police arrived to break up the fight the defendant, who was intoxicated at the time, assaulted one of the officers.
    Christofer Pena-Jimenez, 24, of Bronx, was sentenced to 2 years probation, with 1 day jail credit. He was also ordered to maintain employment, complete a safe driver course, complete his GED, write a letter of apology to the police officer involved, and pay mandatory fines and fees.
    Pena-Jimenez pleaded guilty on April 16, 2018 to one count of eluding, a third-degree offense and reckless driving, a motor vehicle offense.
    On July 21, 2017, Pena-Jimenez drove his motorcycle at a high rate of speed, passing other motorists over the double yellow line through a school zone, and failed to stop for law enforcement officers.
