Girl Scouts use cookie sales for charity

FRANKLIN — Franklin Girl Scout Troop 95328 used money earned from cookie sales to support “Connect for Community”.
This wonderful Charity helps food pantries all over Sussex County and also helps families outside of our county. The girls went shopping at Franklin ShopRite using their knowledge of "needs/wants" and budgeting by using coupons and looking for the best value.
They purchased household items, hygiene items, non perishable items, and water. Not only did the Troop have fun learning the value of money, but also honoring the "Girl Scout Promise” by helping people at all times.
