Philip C. Gannuscio, Jr., age 70, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the Homestead Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Frankford Township after a short illness. Born to the late Philip, Sr. and Dorothy (Stewert) Gannuscio, Philip was raised in Garfield and spent a few years living in Las Vegas before moving to Sussex County. He spent a lot of time with his family and loved all his nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Philip was predeceased by his brother, Vincent Gannuscio and his late wife Michele. He is survived by his devoted brother, Steven Gannuscio and his late wife Beverly of Franklin; his dear sister, Antonia Hoodiman and her husband James of Las Vegas, Nevada; his cherished nieces and nephews, Steven A. Gannuscio and his wife Kelly, Tracy Derr and her husband Christian, Christine Hostler and her husband Scott, James Hoodiman, Melissa Freeman and her husband Derek, Vincent Gannuscio, and Antonia Krekelberg and her husband Toby; 14 great nieces and nephews, and one great great nephew.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018, at the Community Room located in the Franklin House, 1 Mill Street, Franklin, NJ 07416.
