Miners plan Star Wars Night

    The Force is with Sussex County Miners on June 9, all Jedi and Sith as well as Resistance and First Order supporters are invited to journey to a galaxy far, far away and celebrate Star Wars Night.
    Everybody in attendance at Skylands Stadium will be treated to a spectacular evening of baseball between the Miners and the Dominican Republic while paying homage to the greatest movie franchise of all-time.
    Everybody is invited to dress up as their favorite Star Wars character and embrace all the fun. The first 1000 fans in attendance will receive a lightsaber. Attendees can participate in Star Wars themed games and take in Star Wars music and videos. Younglings and padawans can go to a meet and greet with the Miners' greatest Jedi of all, Herbie-Wan Kenobi. In addition, there will be a silent auction of player-signed game-worn Star Wars Miners jersey to benefit the SCARC Foundation.
    Following the game, fans will witness the true firepower of the Sussex County Miners. No, Starkiller Base will not be destroyed. However everyone will be treated to the biggest fireworks show in Sussex County.
