    Ruth H. Murray, 99, died Wednesday April 25, 2018, at Barn-Hill Care Center in Newton. Mrs. Murray, daughter of the late Robert and Helen Friedrickson was born in Passaic October 3, 1918. Mrs. Murray formerly resided in Hardyston Twp. and then Naples, Fla., for 25 years.
    Mrs. Murray was the oldest living graduate of Hackensack Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1938. She also attended NJ State College in Jersey City. Mrs. Murray was a Registered Nurse at Hackensack Hospital for many years and also served as a Public Health Nurse in Bergen County. She also volunteered at the former Northwest Covenant Medical Center in Sussex.
    Upon moving to Naples, FL she was an R.N. at Naples Community Hospital. She was a member of the Naples Private Duty Nurse Association where she served as Treasurer and Chairman. Mrs. Murray was a volunteer for the American Red Cross in Naples where she taught home nursing, CPR and baby sitter’s courses. She was a member of the Pines Lake Country Club in Naples.
    Mrs. Murray was predeceased by her first husband Everett J. Critchley in 1975 and her second husband William C. Murray in 1989, son and daughter, Robert Critchley and Alice DiFiglia, granddaughter, Kim DiFiglia and siblings, Robert Friedrickson, Herbert Friedrickson, Elva Herbert and William Friedrickson. She is survived by her son, William Critchley & his wife Margaret of Hackettstown, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
    A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church 214 Washington St. Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Placement of cremains will follow at the church’s columbarium. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to F.
