Craig Patrick Stapleton

Craig Patrick Stapleton, 62 years old, died after a long illness at St. Clare’s Hospital, Denville, N.J., on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. Born to John and Dora Stapleton in Teaneck, NJ, he lived in Rochelle Park, N.J., and the Pleasant Valley Lake section of Vernon Twp., N.J., before moving to Hardyston Twp., N.J., 5 years ago.
Craig was a graduate of Hackensack High School and worked as a laborer for Craig Contracting in Lodi, NJ for many years. He was an avid New York Yankee and New Orleans Saints fan.
Craig is predeceased by his daughter, Shauna Bailey(1995) and a brother-in-law, Tom Mullen and is the devoted father of Derek Bailey and his wife, Megan of New Windsor, N.Y., Loving grandfather of Ryan and Shaun. Dear brother of Kathy Mullen of Hardyston Twp., N.J., and Ken Stapleton of Clifton, N.J.
The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94(1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 10 AM at the funeral home.
