Providence Elmo

Providence “Flo” Elmo(nee Corsale) died on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She was born on January 24, 1923 to Isadore and Concetta Corsale and was the dear sister of Antoinette, Sam & Connie and George & Betty. Flo was the cherished wife of Teddy and loving mother to Frank & Robin and Carol & Sal. She was the devoted grandmother of Dawn & Jon, Jacqueline, JR & Rita, Nick & Lauren and Laura & Sean and loved by her great grandchildren, Brielle, Vincent, Jonathan, Anne Marie, Ryan, Ryleigh & Lily who referred to her affectionately as “Gigi”. In addition, Flo was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Flo enjoyed entertaining and had a zest for life. She loved to dance, travel, bowl, participate in activities with the Hardyston Senior Club and, most especially, spend time with her family. Flo was a woman of great faith and very proud of her Sicilian heritage. She loved spending time sharing stories about growing up in New York City and teaching her grandchildren Italian rhymes and songs.
The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, N,J, on Friday, May 4, 2018, from 9 to 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin, NJ on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
