Bruce A. Hasz, 57, died Tuesday April 24, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. Mr. Hasz, son of the late Charles and Margaret (Moerlins) Hasz was born in Summit December 19, 1960. He grew up on Delmore Ave. in Berkley Heights and later moved to Ogdensburg where he has resided for the past 30 years.
He graduated from Governor Livingston High School and then received an Associate’s Degree in Laser Electronics from Union College. Mr. Hasz was employed at Singer-Kearfott and Extellis for the next 20 years. He also worked with his best friend, Tom Horuzy, at Bathing Beauties Glass in Ogdensburg. Bruce enjoyed hiking, fishing, motorcycling and gardening.
Mr. Hasz is survived by his brother; Wayne Hasz & his wife Peggy of Pownal, VT, sister; Judy Sheridan & her husband Steve of Middle Village, NYC and nieces and nephews; Brendan, David, Michelle, Jennifer, Heather, Danielle, Brianna and Stephen.
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday May 6, 2018 from 2-4:30 p.m. at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main St. Franklin. Memorial service to commence at 4:30 p.m. Cremation will be private. For directions and online condolences, please see www.fjohnramseyfuneralhome.com
