    Florence "Flossie" I. Smith, age 75, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Belle Reve Senior Living Center in Milford, Pennsylvania. Born to the late Walter and Mae Ida (Search) Holley, Flossie grew up in Jefferson, attended Franklin High School and has lived in Sussex County for the past 40 years. She was a former member of the Wantage United Methodist Church on Libertyville Road and also a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Newfoundland Fire Department. Mrs. Smith was predeceased by her three sisters, Frances Holley, Gladys Day, and Hazel Rome. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Theodore "Rocky" F. Smith, Jr.; her two sons, Theodore F. Smith, III and his fiance Dora Babcock of Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania and Michael Smith, Sr. and his wife Linda of Wake Forest, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Michael Smith, Jr. and Kevin Smith; her great grandchildren, Kyler, Kason, and Brielle; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Wednesday prior to the service from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
