Former Franklin resident charged with burglary

A former Franklin resident faces charges after borough police investigated a complaint of a burglary into a motor vehicle.
Brandon Biggs, 27, was charged with burglary, a third-degree crime, and criminal mischief.
During the course of the investigation it was determined that following a dispute with a resident of Ridgewood Road an individual had entered a motor vehicle belonging to the resident and caused a significant amount of damage to the interior of the vehicle.
Police said the investigation revealed Brandon Biggs was engaged in a verbal dispute with a resident on April 17. Following the verbal argument, he entered the vehicle knowing he was not authorized to enter it and caused a significant amount of damage to the interior of the vehicle with lotions and liquids. Part of the dash board was also damaged. The damage appears to be in excess of $1,000.
He was released and will appear before Central Judicial Processing (CJP) for his first appearance on May 9.
The investigation is ongoing and additional complaints may follow.
