    April 9Christopher Krak, 23, of Ogdensburg pleaded guilty to one count of eluding, a third-degree crime, driving while intoxicated, a motor vehicle offense, and refusal to submit to a breath test, a motor vehicle offense.
    On Nov. 12, 2017, Krak was driving his vehicle at a high rate of speed while under the influence of alcohol and failed to stop when a law enforcement officer activated his overhead lights and tried to pull him over.
    Sentencing is presently anticipated for June 1.
    Ernest Babcock, 50, of Andover pleaded guilty to 1 count of criminal mischief, a disorderly persons offense.
    On Jan. 30, 2018, Babcock broke the windows of his wife’s car causing $2,500.00 worth of damage. Babcock was sentenced to one (1) year probation and to pay mandatory fines and fees.
    April 12Corianne Kinney, 34, of Ogdensburg was indicted on the third-degree charge of intent to defraud and fraudulent use of a credit card and the foruth-degree crime of forgery.
    The case was presented to the Grand Jury by Assistant Prosecutor Shaina Brenner. Arraignment before the Superior Court in Newton will be within the next several weeks.
    April 13Robert C. Pauli, 32, of Sparta pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended for a second or subsequent DWI, a crime of the fourth degree fand motor vehicle violation of driving while intoxicated.
    Sentencing is scheduled for June 1.
    The defendant admitted he was intoxicated when he was pulled over by Sparta Police for motor vehicle violations.
