Franklin man charged with theft

A borough man faces charges after police received a complaint of a theft.
Ronald L. Davenport, 23, was charged with theft, a third-degree crime.
The Franklin Borough Police Detective Bureau investigated. During the course of the investigation it was determined that a contractor had removed cast iron railings from a residence while contracted to perform masonry work. The railings were valued over $2,000.
The investigation revealed Ronald Davenport removed the railings from where he found them stored and sold them to a third party.
He was released and will appear before Central Judicial Processing (CJP) for his first appearance on April 25, 2018.
