During the Month of March, the students of Hardyston Elementary School took part in the Jump Rope For Heart Fundraiser under the supervision of Physical Education teachers Ann Kasa and Nancy Trovato.

The money the students raised will go to the American Heart Association to help fund research. It also educates the students about the importance of developing heart-healthy habits and being physically active. Students participated in jumping activities throughout the month of March during their Physical Education classes. 4

The school's goal was to raise $5,000. The students of Hardyston Elementary School exceeded this goal and raised $6,396. Students earned various “Thank You” gifts provided by the American Heart Association. The top fundraiser was 3rd grader Daniel Christensen who raised $335.00.
