Jefferson Township plans chair yoga

OAK RIDGE — Among the several exercise classes being offered this spring by the Jefferson Township Recreation Department, those adults wanting to move and strengthen their muscles but perhaps not as mobile for a regular Yoga class where many poses are done lying on a mat, you might be interested in the 2018 Spring CHAIR YOGA program this spring.
Learn modified yoga postures incorporating the same principles as a full yoga class but seated in a chair focusing on breathing techniques and stress management tools such as meditation and deep relaxation. Students will be instructed by certified instructor Linda Mangan in this very gentle class in the Camp Jefferson Community Lodge, 81 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong.
Classes will begin on Wednesday, April 11 and end on June 13 from 6 to 7 pm for a 10-week session, and the cost is $35 per person.
Registration is online by logging on to https://register.communitypass.net/reg/index.cfm and if you already have an existing account, sign in or follow the prompts to set up your own personal account through the Jefferson Township community. In either case, chose “Winter-Spring 2018” season to register for Chair Yoga or any of the other exercise classes.
As with any online shopping site, everything in your cart is payable immediately. Full payment of all items in your shopping cart can be made online at checkout with a MC, VISA, or Discover credit card subject to a 2.65 percent bank convenience fee. However, you can choose to “Send Payment” at checkout and then drop off a check, cash, or money order to the JT Recreation Dept. office at Camp Jefferson, 81 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong,NJ 07849 within 3 business days. Or you can mail a check to the office postmarked the day of your registration or the next business day so the office receives your payment within 3 business days of registration -- do not mail cash. If full payment is not received in the office within 3 business days of registration, your registration can be cancelled.
