    March 26Molly Perez, 21, of Newton was sentenced to 18 months of probation and ordered to pay mandatory fines and fees.
    Perez also received three days jail credit.
    Perez pleaded guilty on Jan. 29, 2018, to one (1) count of Simple Assault, a disorderly persons offense. On Dec. 11, 2017, Perez was arrested for aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon. After an altercation with her boyfriend, Perez stabbed him in the back with a kitchen knife.
    Perez was represented by Charles O’Connell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie C. LaCarrubba.
    Harold Hosking, III, 40, of Branchville, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault, a third-degree offense, one count of Driving While Suspended, a fourth-degree offense and refusal, a motor vehicle offense. On Oct. 27, 2017, Hosking was arrested after he assaulted a patron at a local bar. Hosking fled the scene and attempted to hide from State Police. Upon arrest, he was found to have a suspended license due to a second or subsequent DWI conviction.
    Sentencing is presently anticipated for May 4, 2018.
    Hosking was represented by David A. Nufrio, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie C. LaCarrubba.
    March 27Blake Pupo, 34, of of Newton, and Kevin Kilks, 43, of Hopatcong, wwere charged with two counts of the first-degree crimes of distribution of more than 100 mg of LSD. If convicted of these crimes, both Pupo and Dilks would each face up to forty years of imprisonment.
    They were investigated and arrested by the Sussex County Games, Guns and Narcotics Task Force, Hopatcong Borough Police Department, Newton Police Department, Sparta Township Police Department and the New Jersey State Police, Sussex Station following the execution of court authorized search warrants on their persons, home, and vehicles.
