Spring fling planned at fairgrounds

AUGUSTA — Spring Fling promises to be fun for all folks and families looking to celebrate the changing of the season on Saturday, April 14, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Sussex County Fairgrounds.
Admission is free. Highlighting clubs throughout the county, Spring Fling will offer kid friendly, age appropriate activities including a scavenger hunt, meet the Zookeeper, kiss a chicken, “Plant Your Own Zone” and meet the goats.
Fundraising opportunities for the 4-H groups will take place and include wheat berry grass kits and hand crafted items. Food will be available.
