Master Ken student earns scholarship

HAMBURG — One of Master Ken's students, Mackenzie Warner (Wallkill Valley Regional High School), was awarded a $20,000 scholarship from Bridgeport University in Connecticut.
Master Ken is actively supporting his students to achieve academic benefits from martial arts training. He nominated Miss Warner to the Martial Arts Department of Bridgeport University. After Dr. Kim (Chairperson) evaluated the other candidates from Master Ken, he chose Mackenzie Warner for the scholarship. She received the scholarship in front of Masters from NY, NJ, CT, MA, GA, VA, CA, Canada and Korea. According to Mackenzie, from 8 years of Taekwondo training, she earned not only physical strength but also mental virtues. She also learned better respect to her elders and classmates.
