Lusscroft farm to host maple sugaring open house

, N.J. — The annual maple sugaring open house at Lusscroft Farm will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on two days, Saturday, March 24, and Sunday, March 25.
Fun and educational for the whole family, live demonstrations will show how to tap maple trees, collect the sap, and make syrup. Fresh maple syrup will be available for purchase.
The Lusscroft Farm Sugar Shack is located at 50 Neilson Road & 4-H Trail in Wantage, N.J. Admission is free to all.
Funds raised from the maple syrup sales fund the maple sugaring project at Lusscroft as well as other restoration projects at the farm. Presented by the Heritage & Agriculture Association, the New Jersey Tree Farm Program, and the New Jersey Society of American Foresters, in association with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection/Division of Parks & Forestry.
