    Feb. 2Michael Linder, 27, of Sussex was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 16 days and two years of probation. He was ordered to submit to a psychological evaluation and follow any and all recommendations made from same, submit a DNA sample, and pay fines and fees totaling $655.
    His driver's license was ordered suspended for one year.
    He pleaded guilty on Oct. 23, 2017, to unlawful taking of a means of conveyance, a fourth-degree crime.
    The defendant took an individual’s car without permission on October 30, 2016, in Vernon Township.
    Corey Brown, 27, of Enfield, Conn., was sentenced to 270 days jail time, with 8 days credit for time served, and three years of probation. He was also ordered to attend and complete a AAA approved driver safety course, write letters of apology to the police officers involved, pay a $1,000 fine and other mandatory fines and fees.
    Brown pleaded guilty on Dec. 11, 2017 to one count of eluding, a third-degree offense.
    On Sept. 26, 2017, Brown was observed by Sparta Township Police passing a vehicle over the double yellow line on a blind curve. When police activated overhead lights and sirens, Brown took off reaching speeds of 96 mph.
    Anne L. Brown, 57, of Byram was ordered to pay a total of $655 fines and fees and to submit a DNA sample at her own expense.
    She pleaded guilty on Sept. 25, 2017, to one count of false public alarm, a fourth-degree offense.
    On or about October 28, 2016, the Defendant placed several calls to the 911 Emergency Telephone System without the need for emergency services.
    Zachary Johnson, 26, of Acworth, Ga., pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third-degree crime.
    Sentencing is scheduled for March 16.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to being in possession of heroin on August 31, 2016, in Ogdensburg.
    Lawrence Hill was sentenced to an aggregate sentence of five years in State Prison with a two-year, sixth-month period of parole eligibility.
    Hill pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy, two counts of theft by deception, one count theft, four counts of burglary, and two counts of receiving stolen property on various indictments.
    The defendant pleaded guilty on Feb. 15, 2017, to conspiring with two other individuals to participate in a scheme to steal funds and actually steal funds in an amount greater than $500 from Lakeland Bank. He also pleaded guilty on Feb. 15, 2017 to conspiring with another person to and agreeing to burglarize U.S. Gas and Sam’s Dollar Discount in Sussex Borough and T.J.’s Pizza in Wantage Township in June 2016.
    Hill also pleaded guilty to entering and attempting to steal cars at T&A Elite Auto Sales in Wantage Township on June 28, 2016.
    He also pleaded guilty to taking a pick-up truck on Jan. 18, 2017, in Wantage Township without the owner’s permission and thereafter, receiving a van that he knew was stolen.
    James D. Wilke, was sentenced to an aggregate sentence of six years in state prison with one-day credit for time served plus fines, fees and restitution in the amount of $1,953.09.
    Wilke plead guilty to one count each of conspiracy, theft by deception, issuing bad checks, witness tampering and hindering apprehension.
    Wilke conspired to issue and deposit bad checks to Lakeland Bank, Wantage. Between the dates of Oct. 17, 2015 and Dec. 7, 2015, he obtained in excess of $500 from Lakeland Bank by deception.
    On or about Dec. 9, 2015, Wilke caused a witness to complete a false affidavit and did volunteer that knowingly false affidavit to a law enforcement officer.
    Feb. 5Adrienne Wieladek, 40, of Highland Lakes pleaded guilty to theft, a fourth-degree crime, and to two violations of probation.
    Sentencing is scheduled for March 16.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to taking cash from her Wantage employer during April and May 2017.
