Urgent care center holds grand opening

HARDYSTON — Marking their ‘soft” opening on Jan. 17, officials and members of the St. Clare Health Care family celebrated the official opening and ribbon cutting at their new location in the Hardyston Mercantile Mall on Route 94 in Hardyston.
Many of the Open House speakers, namely, St. Clare’s Chief Executive Officer Brian Finestein, Hardyston Mayor Carl Miller, Sussex County Chamber of Commerce president Tammie Horsefield and advisory board member Virginia Littell all expressed the idea that the urgent care center is local and centrally local to most Sussex County towns. Neighbors healing neighbors seems to be the major slogan of the freshly painted, medically modern, welcoming facility, capable of treating non-emergency injuries and illnesses like fevers/colds/flu, accident related injuries, infections, strains and sprains on a no appointment status.
During a facility tour with Practicing Manager Rebecca Perrault, visitors were able to view the examination and X-ray rooms. According to Perrault, re-establishing the local feel, each room is decorated with county and town photos by local artist William Johnston.
The center will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a full medical staff of nurses, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants under the direction of Medical Director Martinez Clement Md.
The Open House continued with refreshments, free blood pressure screenings and a kids’ touch-a-truck of a St. Clare’s ambulance.
