Club learns about dog fostering

HAMBURG — The Hamburg School Environmental Club was recently visited by Mary Cody, who fosters dogs and finds homes for them through her organization, Aunt Mary's doghouse.
Sally Allen also visited the club and she is a local dog trainer. Mary taught the students the importance of rescue and volunteering. Sally brought her dog, Indie, to demonstrate dog training techniques.
Students were able to try out some of the techniques for themselves.
