    Jan. 12Desmond Hunter, 31, of Flanders, was sentenced to 180 days in Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility, and must pay $155.00 court fines and fees.
    He pleaded guilty on Aug. 21, 2017, to driving while suspended, a crime of a fourth degree.
    While conducting a motor vehicle stop for a broken brake light, Hopatcong Police discovered the defendant to be driving while suspended for a second or subsequent DWI.
    Jan. 16Mariah May. 32, of Denville, pleaded guilty to one count of Harassment, a petty disorderly persons offense. On Feb. 11, 2017, May was arrested following a domestic dispute with her boyfriend during which she hit him in the head with a broom.
    Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 2, 2018.
    Jason Sinclair, 43, of Stanhope, pleaded guilty to one count of witness tampering, a third-degree crime, one count of criminal mischief, a fourth-degree crime, and one count of contempt, a disorderly persons offense.
    Sinclair was arrested following a domestic violence incident with his his ex-girlfriend and after he smashed her car windshield with a mailbox post. Sinclair was again arrested after threatening his ex-girlfriend if she did not drop charges against him.
    Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 2, 2018.
    David Heller, 32, of Unionville, N.Y., pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault, a third-degree crime. On Nov. 9, 2017, Heller met his ex-girlfriend to drop off their daughter and they got into an argument and Heller strangled her until she lost consciousness.
    Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 2, 2018.
    Jan. 18Joshua Siedel, 24, of Frackville, Pa., pleaded guilty to criminal trespassing, a crime of the fourth degree.
    Sentencing is presently scheduled for March 23, 2018.
    The defendant admitted to entering a private residence in Montague without the owners permission.
    Jan. 22Dallas Kruzelnick, 33, of Wantage, pleaded guilty to two counts of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, two counts of fourth-degree driving while suspended for a second or subsequent DWI, two DWI motor vehicle charges and two violation of probation charges.
    Sentencing is presently scheduled for March 9, 2018.
    The defendant admitted that he was in possession of Heroin during two separate motor vehicle stops in September of 2017, one incident in Wantage and the other incident in Morris County. He also admitted that on both occasions he was driving while his license was suspended for previous DWI’s.
    Jan. 26Aimee Lowry-Crane, 40, of Hamburg, was sentenced to three years probation on condition she submit a DNA sample, pay $4,916.57 restitution to the victim, obtain any evaluations required by Probation and follow all recommendations, and pay $157.00 in court fines and fees.
    She pleaded guilty on Nov. 2, 2017, to misapplication of entrusted property, a third-degree crime.
    Between June 30, 2014, and March 15, 2016, while serving in the fiduciary relationship as treasurer for the Hamburg Parent Teacher Association, the defendant disposed of funds that had been entrusted to her in a manner that she knew was unlawful and involving substantial risk of loss or detriment to the PTA.
