Dennis Arthur Hey

Dennis Arthur Hey, 62 years old, died unexpectedly at Newton Medical Center on Thursday, January 18, 2018. Born to W. Arthur and Dorothy Hey in Franklin, NJ, he had lived in Oregon and then Sussex, NJ before moving to Franklin, NJ in 2007.
Dennis was a graduate of Rutgers earning his BS in Forestry. He worked as a chairlift mechanic for many years most recently at Mountain Creek Ski Resort in Vernon Twp., N.J. He was a lifelong music lover, enjoyed the outdoors, long drives, the Fair, riding dirt bikes and trying new and good foods.
Dennis is the beloved husband for 23 years of Genean Hey(nee Kleinbach) of Franklin, N.J. Devoted father of Jessica Petriwsky and her husband, Chris, of Portland, Ore., Patrick Hey of Portland, Ore., and Ricky Hower and his wife, Jezrai of Welches, Ore. Loving grandfather of Milo and Riley Petriwsky. Dear brother of Marty Hey of Reston, Va. Uncle of Sara Eckersley. Cherished friend of Billie the cat.
Private cremation services by F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ. Memorial service to be planned for a later date.
