    Thomas Joseph Lloyd, 64 years of Stockholm, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017.
    He was born on July 30, 1953 in New York City to Ann (nee McQuade) and Alfred Lloyd.
    Thomas grew up in Hell’s Kitchen in New York City.
    He proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War from 1972 to 1978.
    Thomas married the late Ruth (nee McDonough) in 1984 and resided in the Sunnyside section of Queens, N.Y., later moving to Stockholm, N.J. until his passing.
    He worked for many years doing maintenance for the New York City Board of Education.
    Thomas was predeceased by his beloved wife Ruth in 2017, his parents Ann and Alfred Lloyd, and his brothers Alfred W. Lloyd, Jr, and Richard Lloyd.
    He is survived by his loving sisters Jane Sparaco and Lorraine Talarico; his dear niece Darlene Angelica, and his dear nephews Martin Sparaco, Stephen Talarico, Brian Talarico, and Richard Lloyd, Jr.
    Thomas will best be remembered for being a generous and kind-hearted good guy.
    The family will receive visitors on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, from noon to 3 p,m. at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 087 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 (GPS use 1 Post Place).
    Final disposition will be private.
