    William C. Hill, aged 79 years old, born Dec. 16, 1937, in Stillwater, N.J., to the late John W. Hill and Wilma E. Hill (nee Sipley). He was raised in Stillwater. He had resided in Florida for 25 years and recently moved back to New Jersey.
    William served in the United Sates Coast Guard for 12 years. He was a federal police officer at Picatinny Arsenal. He attended the Harmony Hill United Methodist Church and was a member of the Franklin American Legion and the West Wind Association.
    William is predeceased by his parents, John in 1987 and Wilma in 2010 and a son, Shawn D. Hill in 1987. He is survived by his wife, Janet Hill(nee Clouse) of 36 years. His daughter, Cheryl Anchor of Moon Lake, Fla., 2 sons, Phillip Hill of Moon Lake, FL and Laurence Hill of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and a daughter, Jennifer Clouse, of Belleville, Michigan. He has 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Also a sister, Sadie Hill-Gass of Andover and a brother, David E. Hill of Montague.
    The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, N.J., on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017 from 11 to 1 p.m. Funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment at North Hardyston Cemetery, Hardyston Twp., N.J.
