Hear the Christmas cantata: 'Do You Hear What I Hear?'

— The Delaware Valley Choral Society will perform a Christmas cantata titled “Do You Hear What I Hear?” containing new and familiar carols.
This cantata tells the Christmas story with dramatic narration and music scored for adult and children’s choirs. Making this concert a true family event, the Dingman Delaware Children’s Choir, directed by Brian Krauss, will join the Delaware Valley Choral Society, directed by Jeffrey Fornoff. The music spans the baroque era to contemporary, from Buxtehude to Whitacre and Jenkins.
Concert dates are as follows:
Friday, Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Thomas The Apostle Church, 210 Route 206 North, Sandsyton, N.J.
Saturday, Dec. 2, at 2 p.m. at Drew United Methodist Church, 49-51 Sussex St., Port Jervis, N.Y.
Sunday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. at Milford United Methodist Church located at 206 East Ann St., Milford, Pa.

The Delaware Valley Choral Society is a non-profit group dedicated to performing major choral works in their original form. The Society incorporates aspiring musicians from the area as well as professional musicians to bring major works of music to our community.
