KRHS girls advance in soccer tourney

Kittatinny Regional High School defeated High Point Regional High School (Sussex, N.J.) in girls varsity soccer on Monday, October 30, 2017. The final score was 2-1. The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association Tournament, First Round, North Jersey, Section 1, Group 2 game took place at Kittatinny Regional High School in Hampton Township.
Makenna Conklin and Mackenzie Utter each scored one goal for Kittatinny. Ally Benziger and Kelly Insalaco each contributed one assist.
Goalkeeper Natalia Mattar accomplished 21 saves for Kittatinny.
Brielle Halloran scored one goal for High Point. Madison Smolen contributed one assist.
Goalkeeper Eve Sarracco accomplished 24 saves for High Point.
Team records: Kittatinny Cougars 16-2. High Point Wildcats 10-7.
