Councilman David Astor was absent.
Mayor Rachel Slater explained, any modifications to the pond would still come to the council for approval, in order to be covered by the insurance and be part of risk management.
Slater continued, the water is currently draining from Heater's Pond, in preparation for the dam armoring.
She also reminded residents, no: fishing, ice fishing, swimming, boating, or events are allowed at Heater's Pond. Slater added, strolls are allowed, however, residents must stay away from any construction and equipment in the area.

After discussion initiated by Councilman Robert Gunderman, Slater will follow up with JCP&L regarding lighting on the corner of Passaic and Rt. 517. Councilman George Hutnick suggested JCP&L complete a site survey to determine what is wrong with the lighting, and how to fix it.
Council President Peter Opilla said, the hydrant on Main Street was successfully repaired.
Borough Attorney Richard Brigliadoro will draft a letter to the resident located at the Beardslee Hill loop repair location, per Opilla's request.
Slater said the current Office of Emergency Management Coordinator Steven Ciasullo, will fulfill his term through Dec. 31, 2017. In January, she continued, the council will appoint a new person with the appropriate requirements.
