Wallkill Valley FBLA goes to regional summit

HAMBURG — Six members of the Wallkill Valley Regional High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America attended the New Jersey FBLA Northern Region Summit on Oct. 5 at Parsippany Hills High School.
Co-Presidents Kayla Bifano and Tyler Small, Vice President Garett Koch, Community Service Vice Presidents Drew Langenfeld and Kaitlyn Taylor, and New Jersey State Secretary Anastasia Schroeder attended. The meeting focused on ice breaker activities and leadership workshops.
Mr. Tim Baxter, President and CEO of Samsung Electronics North America, was the keynote speaker. His presentation highlighted his journey to success and the skills necessary to reach career goals.
Ninety members from the northern region of the state attended the Summit. The members were divided into groups to present their “Shark Tank” ideas. Kaitlyn Taylor’s group made the top 3!
