The Panto Company USA is thrilled to be back for the 4th time at the amazing Newton Theatre with their brand new show, Treasure Island. Treasure Island spins an action-packed, fun-filled tale of piracy, a mysterious treasure map, and a host of characters with bad intentions who meet their match and are eventually foiled. Seen through the eyes of Jim Hawkins, the cabin boy of the Hispaniola, this thrilling musical adventure full of audience participation, tells of a perilous sea journey across the Spanish Main, a raucous mutiny led by the infamous Long John Silver, a scramble for buried treasure on an exotic isle, and the message that good wins over evil.
Robert Louis Stevenson wrote Treasure Island in 1881. It is set in the days of sailing ships and pirates and tells of the adventures of Jim Hawkins and his search for the buried treasure of an evil pirate, Captain Flint.
