Bruce W. Hompesch, 63, passed away at home in Franklin on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017. Bruce was born in Newark, N.J., on June 6, 1954, to the late Donald W. and Helen (nee Semota) Hompesch. Bruce was raised in Kearny and was a resident of Lake Shawnee moving to Franklin in 1999.
Bruce served in The United States Navy receiving several meritorious accommodations’. Bruce was the owner operator of Faithful Movers, Franklin, N.J. He was member of the Christian Faith Fellowship Church and a member of the New Jersey Tap Pool League in Sussex County, N.J. and was a state winner in 2016 and was also an avid fisherman.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife Solarita, and his children, Brian W. Hompesch of Franklin, Jason W. Hompesch and his wife, Justina, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, Adam W. Hompesch of Franklin, and Kacy Marie Sink and her husband Brian of Greeley, Pa, and his five granddaughters, Kaele Buttercup Principato, Aubrey Anne Sink, Emma Marie Hompesch, Robin Irene Sink and Olivia Lynn Hompesch, and his siblings, Donald W. Hompesch of Stanhope, Michael R. Hompesch of Greenbrook, John F. Hompesch of Netcong and Sheryl Lynn Hompesch of Netcong and his nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main Street Franklin, NJ on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 2-5 p.m., all are invited to attend funeral services at the Christian Faith Fellowship Chapel, 3188 State Route 94, Franklin (GPS use Hardyston Township), N.J., on Monday, Oct. 16, at 10 a.m., committal services at the Northern New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Sparta, N.J.
