VERNON — Healthy Thymes Market is inviting the community to help celebrate its 28th anniversary.
Since opening its doors in 1989, Healthy Thymes Market outgrew two locations before settling at 265 Route 94 in Vernon. The eco-friendly renovation of the former auto supply store is the pride and joy of owners Dan and Dani Segal, who see the store as an extension of their own home and lifestyles.
In addition to an ever-evolving selection of natural and organic food, Healthy Thymes Market has a dedicated gluten-free grocery section, eight-tap kegerator of fresh kombucha, a wide selection of body care, essential oils, protein powders and the top vitamin and herbal lines available. Herbs and teas are available in the bulk station, where customers can also grind your own nut butters and coffee. The Kitchen at Healthy Thymes Market offers organic vegetarian and vegan hot foods, soups, salads, baked goods, juices and no-ice smoothies, with a full menu covering all tastes from breakfast to dinner and dessert. Catering is available, as well as education on nutrition and health by a knowledgeable staff.
Healthy Thymes Market supports local sports teams, religious and civic groups, entered an event team at the Skylander Challenge at SCCC, and participates in area events and festivals.
In honor of the store’s anniversary, more than a dozen companies will offer sales and samples at demo events through the end of October, including food tastings, skin care recommendations, personalized supplement suggestions and more. Healthy Thymes Market brand supplements and essential oils will be 28 percent off for the entire month, and customers are invited to enter raffles, enjoy samples and special events throughout the celebration. Many items are on sale in every area of the store, and new items arrive weekly. For information on events visit www.facebook.com/HealthyThymesMarket or call the store at 973-209-8555.
