Irene M. Zipco

Irene M. Zipco, 97, died Monday Sept. 25, 2017 at Barn-Hill Care Center in Newton. Mrs. Zipco, daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Vojensky) Yurchak was born in Franklin April 8, 1920. Mrs. Zipco was a lifelong resident of Franklin.
Mrs. Zipco was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Franklin and the church’s Rosary Society as well as the Catholic Daughters of America.
She was predeceased by her husband Nick Zipco in 2005 and her brothers, Andrew, Joseph and Peter Yurchak. Mrs. Zipco is survived by her daughter, Martha Storms of Hardyston Twp.; granddaughter, Lauren Kurish & her husband, Gene, of Franklin; great granddaughters, Alaina & Felicia; brother, Stephen Yurchak of Hardyston Twp.; sister in law, Barbara Yurchak of Franklin and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at 9:15 a.m. from F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main St. Franklin to Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Franklin.
