Ogdensburg Historical Society plans Candidates Night

    The Ogdensburg Historical Society will host its annual “Candidates’ Night” on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at 7:00 P.M. in the Ogdensburg Firehouse at 1 Firehouse Lane. All members of the public are welcome to attend and meet the candidates running for office. In the 24th Legislative District of NJ incumbent State Senator Steve Oroho (R) is challenged by Jen Hamilton (D).
    Incumbent Assemblyman Parker Space (R) and candidate Hal Wirths (R), and candidates Kate Matteson (D) and Gina Trish (D) are campaigning for the 24th Assembly District's two seats. Dan Perez (D) and Herbert Yardley (R), candidates for the one Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders seat, will participate.
    Pete Opilla (R) and Mike Nardini (Write-in), uncontested candidates for the Ogdensburg Council, will also be in attendance. Uncontested candidate Mary Donegan is seeking a seat on the Ogdensburg Board of Education.
