If your family wants to shoot off rockets, get messy making STEM slime, or go fishing, we have events for you
The Sussex County Boy Scouts’ invite boys currently enrolled in kindergarten through 5th grade to take part in these family joining events, free of charge. The joining campaign is aimed at introducing families to the Scout’s positive and fun-focused program called Cub Scouts, which is open to boys in kindergarten through fifth grade.
In Cub Scouts, boys learn leadership and life skills while participating in adventures ranging from building pinewood derby cars and assembling robots to enjoying the great outdoors and
helping others through its strong focus on community service
There are more then 20 Cub Scout packs in Sussex County, all holding their own family activity nights. For more information on a Cub Scout Pack in your neighborhood, visit www.beascout.org.
For information on joining events, please contact Mike Loughman, program executive at or 973-714-7308 or Michael.Loughman@scouting.org.
