The comedians performing are Mike Fine, Wali Collins, Dan Boulger and Jim David.
Mike Fine is an American stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. With a sharp mix of an unpredictable demeanor, abstract observations, and deadpan delivery Mike’s comedy styling is reminiscent of the classic Borscht Belt comedians. A frequent guest on TV and radio programs, he also appeared in the Award winning Documentary “When Jews Were Funny”. Fine currently is a recurring judge in the official Off Broadway production of The Gong Show Live, co-hosts a weekly podcast called Javid Radio, and pens a weekly humor column for New York Smash magazine. He co-starred and co-wrote three seasons of the cult hit cable show “The Ferris Butler Program”, with former Saturday Night Live writer Ferris Butler. With an adept ability for fine tuning a joke or punching up a script, Mike regularly is asked to provide comedy material for many A-list celebrities and athletes.
Wali Collins started doing stand-up in the late 80’s and moved up the ranks very quickly. After being nominated three years in a row as “College Campus Entertainer of the Year”, Wali moved to New York City to become host of Comedy Central’s “Stand-up Stand-up”. From there, Collins has piled up some very impressive credits including appearances on multiple TV shows. David Letterman recruited Wali to warm-up his show. Later Wali was a featured performer on the Late Show with David Letterman. Wali’s had roles in many movies including Jerry Brucheimer’s film Coyote Ugly. He also was featured in the hit sitcom Spin City, and Comedy Central’s Chappelle Show. He’s the host of the new PBS series special, Wild TV and he’s been in an endless amount of national television commercials. In the words of Robert Klein, “Wali Collins is versatile, smart and very, very funny. Wali is headed only one way, Stardom.”
Dan Boulger began his comedy career in late 2004 only one week into his freshman year of college. Quickly becoming a favorite in the New England area Boulger started performing nationally after winning the Boston Comedy Festival in 2006 at the age of 20. He has since received recognition form both audiences and industry. He has appeared on several high profile college tours such as the Comedy Central Live and has been the supporting act for many more famous comics including Bill Burr, Louis CK, Dennis Miller and Zach Galifianakis.
Jim David’s outrageous and biting comedy can be seen on his half hour special, Comedy Central Presents... Jim David, as well as Comedy Central's Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and USO Comedy Tour. Jim has won many awards for his work including a Backstage Bistro Award for outstanding excellence in comedy and the MAC Award for Outstanding Comedian in New York City.
