Ruth L. Knauer

Ruth L. Knauer, 88, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017. Ruth was born on Dec. 15, 1928, in Johnstown, Pa., to the late Ralph and Elda (nee Daughenbaugh) Mellott. Ruth was a resident of Passaic for 55 years and the last 2 years in Lodi.
Ruth was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader.
She was predeceased by her husband Jack, and a daughter Betty Torres, and two great-grandchildren, Curtiss and Pamela, and her siblings, Donald, Jack, Faye, Wayne and Ralph.
Ruth is survived by her children, Jeanette Brady of Columbus, GA, Wayne Knauer of Passaic, Richard Knauer of Franklin, Elda Baton and her husband of Franklin and Karen Eccles and her husband of Fayetteville, PA, and her 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.
