Fall registration is now open for Mayo Performing Arts Center's fall classes.
A variety of classes in musical theater, acting, theatre dance technique and vocal training will be available for children beginning at age 5 through age 18. Classes begin September 19 and run through mid-January. Classes are offered on Mondays-Thursdays and Saturdays at the Theatre. Cost for classes begins at $300, depending on the length and type of the class.
This fall, MPAC returns with four classes using the methodology of The Miracle Project for children on the autism spectrum and with special needs. The Miracle Project is an original groundbreaking, fully inclusive music, movement and creative drama program featured in the Emmy Award winning documentary Autism: The Musical. This creative and dynamic socialization program enables children ages 9-15 with autism spectrum disorders and other special needs to express themselves through music, dance, acting, story and writing. All children of all abilities grow in skills and spirit and work with a highly talented staff while creating and performing musicals.
