Ryan Patrick Simpson

VERNON — Ryan Patrick Simpson, 19, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, at his home in Vernon Township. Ryan was born in Pequannock Township on Sept. 9, 1997, and has been a lifelong resident of the Highland Lakes section of Vernon.
Ryan was a 2015 graduate of Vernon Township High School. He worked as a cashier and pizza maker at the Lake Wanda Store in Highland Lakes. Ryan loved snowboarding, skateboarding and biking. He enjoyed spending time with friends and especially his dear friend Annalei.
Ryan is the beloved son of Donald and Dorothy (Dorne) Simpson of Highland Lakes and is also survived by his paternal grandfather, Les Simpson of Laceyville, Pa.; maternal grandparents, Dorothy Dorne of Oak Ridge and Ralph Tarsitano of Pompton Lakes; uncles and aunts, Larry and Amy Simpson, Rick Simpson and Debbie and Bill Bohmer; cousins, Tyler Simpson, Billy Miranda and Katelyn Bohmer, as well as uncle David Grish.
