Franklin police: Driver who veered off road was under the influence

FRANKLIN — Michael H. Tizzano, 27, of Franklin, was charged with multiple criminal offenses after veering off the roadway and striking a parked vehicle on Wildcat Road in Franklin Borough on Aug. 11, according to police.
Franklin police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Wildcat Road on Aug. 11 at about 10:35 p.m.
The investigation found that Tizzano was allegedly under the influence of narcotics and in possession of narcotics including oxycodone, marijuana and paraphernalia, which were recovered from the vehicle he was driving.
Tizzano was charged with multiple criminal offenses including possession of oxycodone, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, use of a controlled dangerous substance and driving while impaired. He was also issued several motor vehicle summonses for various motor vehicle infractions.
