Girls on the Run registration open

Registration for the Girls on the Run fall season opened July 30, and the season will begin on Sept. 11.

The organization is seeking coaches for several sites. Volunteering is fun, and our coaches are an essential part of the success of Girls on the Run. Coaching is a rewarding opportunity that requires a commitment of 1.5 hours a week, twice a week, for 10 weeks.
All coaches will receive a guaranteed team placement for their daughter. Training is provided.
There are two area run sites: Wantage School on Tuesday and Thursday from 4-5:30 p.m. and Lounsberry Hollow Middle School on Wednesday and Friday from 5-6:30 p.m.
Both sites are for third- to fifth-graders.
