Barbara J. Hansen

Barbara J. Hansen, 65, died Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at her brother’s home in Green Twp. Ms. Hansen, daughter of the late John L. and Irene A. (Quinn) Hansen was born in Jersey City August 29, 1951. She resided in Carteret and Vernon before moving to Hamburg 28 years ago.
Ms. Hansen was a Scanning Coordinator for the Ronetco Shop-Rite Stores where she has worked for the last 48 years. She was an avid reader and an avid Broadway Show and Concert Goer.
Ms. Hansen was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Hansen and is survived by her brothers, Robert T. Hansen of Green Twp., John Hansen of New Lisbon and Michael Hansen of Stockholm; sisters in law, Mary Beth White of Mt. Arlington and Laureen Carroll of North Carolina; nephews, Christopher Hansen of Andover, Timothy Hansen of Mt. Arlington and Corey Hansen of Mt. Arlington as well as a niece, Samantha Irene Hansen of Stockholm.
Funeral services were held Monday July 31, 2017 at 11 a.m. at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main St. Franklin. Interment will follow at North Hardyston Cemetery.
