Highland Stage bringing Beauty and the Beast

    This summer the Highland Stage will sweep you away to France for this enchanted musical where Belle feels trapped in her provincial town and a prince is trapped in the body of a hideous beast.
    Performances are Friday and Saturday, July 28, 29, Aug. 4 and 5 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 5, at 1 p.m. Tickets are $15 for Adults and $10 for seniors/children and students with ID.     If the beast can learn to love and be loved in returned then the spell will be broken and he will be transformed to his former princely self. If not, he and his household will be doomed for all time. This classical love story is a magical tale that comes to life with unforgettable characters and a stunning score including, "Be Our Guest," "Gaston," "Human Again," and the Tony-winning title song, "Beauty and the Beast."
    The cast is led by Celeste Levy of Vernon as Belle, Joe Bellina of West Milford as The Beast and Ethan Metz of Vernon as Gaston. The cast also includes: Ryan Spadafina as Lefou, CJ Sansone as Maurice, Hatten Mullins as Lumiere, Jack McGraw as Cogsworth, Kaitlyn Gallaugher as Mrs. Potts, Lindsey Renna as Babette, Skylar Salamone as Madame de la Grande Bouche, Sofia Crane and Darios Hartlage as Chip, Liam Zupp as Monsieur D’Arque, Morgan Brown, Elisabeth Lynn and Lia Pila as the Silly Girls.
    Joining the principals above are Aiden Becker, Alexis Borowic, Cora Brennan, Rebekah Bruesehoff, Katherine Choma, Maddie Coar, Alex Colon, Joseph Cordeiro, Madeline Felixbrod, Langdon Frey, Nathan Fitch, Kaitlyn Gilmer, Megan Hertlein, Kylie Imbimbo, Ashtin Jones, Anmarie Kaczor, Kaitlin Kawko, Blair Lanza, Madeleine Leahy, Bailey Mann, Gabrielle Martin, Hannah Ranzan, Jessica Sconfienza, Justin Shea, Sadie Smaldino, Sidney Sparta, Damian Vince and Morgan Ziegler
    This musical represents the company’s annual Summer Theatre Project. The show is directed by Heather Burns, musical direction is by Faith Anderson and choreography is by Renee Ziegler-Schmidt. The full pit orchestra will be led by Jon Hartlage and lighting Design is by Matthew Mitra. Liz Smith is the company Stage Manager.
