WARWICK— Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 5-6, Black Dirt Distillery will host the Cash & Country Music Festival + New York Whiskey Weekend from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event will take place at Warwick Valley Winery & Black Dirt Distillery at 114 Little York Road in Warwick.
The weekend will feature Whiskey Crossing, Tim O’Donahue, Hillbilly Parade, Diablo Station, Cash is King, Black Dirt Bandits, Bill Kirchen and the Whiskey Sinners, all performing the music of Johnny Cash and other outlaw country music stars on the outdoor stage in the natural orchard amphitheater.
For an additional $15/door or $12/advance, guests (21 and older) gain access to the New York Whiskey & Spirits Tent, where they will receive a signature rocks glass, sample New York cocktails, whiskey & spirits, sample artisanal cheeses, meet nearly two-dozen of the state’s leading craft spirits producers, have an opportunity to purchase New York products and learn about the pioneers defining the beverage industry with their unique brands.
Participating New York craft distillers include: Albany Distilling Co., Atsby Vermouth, Barrows Intense, Black Dirt Distillery, Brooklyn Gin, Buffalo Distilling, Catskill Distilling, Fingerlakes Distilling, Greenhook Ginsmiths, Harvest Spirits, Hillrock Distillery, NYDC, Orange County Distillery, Orchard Hill Cider Mill, Prohibition Distillery, Port Morris Distillery, Standard Spirits, Still the One Distillery, Taconic Distillery and more.
Gourmet food will be available for purchase at the café and outdoor grill. Tours of the Black Dirt Distillery are also available for purchase. Advance ticket sales may be purchased at market.wvwinery.com until Thursday, Aug. 3. Then, tickets may be purchased at the door.
Admission to the music festival is $15/door or $12/advance.
