Police: Unauthorized people trying to enter school

FRANKLIN — Franklin police said individuals who do not have legitimate business with The Franklin Elementary School have been making attempts to enter the building and or property.
Police said any person who is found in the Franklin Elementary School building or on Franklin Elementary School property without authorization or with official school personnel is trespassing.
Permission to enter the school building or property during the summer months or off hours may only be authorized by the Superintendent, Principal, or their designee, according to authorities.
A student of this school, may enter upon the property only if accompanied by a parent/guardian and for an official school function or official school business.
All visitors of the building should note that when they enter the building, they must check in with the front Office.
Failure to comply with these orders could result in arrest.
