Jane K. Butto

Jane K. Butto, 84, died Friday June 9, 2017, at Bear Creek Nursing Home in Morrison, Colo. Mrs. Butto, daughter of the late William and Mildred (Balderson) Walker was born in Throop, Pa., March 6, 1933. Mrs. Butto resided in Franklin then Newton for many years before moving to Littleton, Colo., in June 2013.
Mrs. Butto was an operator at Bell Telephone in Denville and later worked at Metaltec in Franklin, Selective Insurance Company of America in Branchville and lastly at Ames Dept. Store in Newton. Mrs. Butto was a Hot Air Balloon Enthusiast and enjoyed hot air balloon rides. She also enjoyed The Opera and bluegrass music. As well, she loved the great outdoors and enjoyed walking.
Mrs. Butto loved to “Live, Laugh and Love.” She was a selfless Mom and lived for her children. She is survived by her children, Ann Wright of Branchville, Rosemarie Weiler & her husband Mark of Littleton, CO, Michael Butto and his wife Lynn of Portland, Ore., Joseph Butto & his wife Chris of Montague and Jane Hollinger of Mt. Arlington; brother, James Walker of Sparks, NV; grandchildren, Megan, Joey, John, Nick, Jonathan, Matt and Steven; great granddaughters, Jaclyn and newest Baby Butto. She was predeceased by her former husband, Joseph Butto 1993 and son John Butto 1980, and son-in-law R. Gerald Wright 2005.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 12 noon at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main St. Franklin. Interment of ashes will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Franklin.
