Lakeland Pools & Spas holding toy drive

Lakeland Pools & Spas would like to announce that they are holding their Fifth Annual Toy Drive now through July 28 in Loving Memory of Harrison Shauger. Harrison was born on Aug. 2, 2006, with a congenital heart defect knows as Tetralogy of Fallot.
Harrison was well known at the store, in school and around the community for his giant smile and silly demeanor that would steal the hearts of everyone he came in contact with. Harrison sadly lost his battle with his heart condition on March 26, 2013, after multiple surgeries and cardiac catheterizations.
The toy drive is in honor of Harrisons 11th birthday this year.
Last year, the toy drive took in 1,134 toys that were then donated to the Pediatric Center for Heart Disease in Hackensack. Harrison made frequent visits to this very office for heart checks. Every visit he made, he always walked out with a smile and toy in hand as they always had a little something to give to him at the end of his visit. The Shauger family would like to continue putting smiles on these precious children who battle heart disease everyday by doing these donations every year for Harrsion’s birthday.
New toys (no stuffed animals please) for ages newborn to teen can now be dropped off at multiple locations again this year until July 28: Lakeland Pools & Spas 257 Route 94 in Vernon, Vernon Valley Karate Academy 3 Theta Drive in Vernon, Minerals Sports Club 2 Chamonix Drive in Vernon, Lorenzos Pizza 67 Main Street in Sussex, Shear Intensity Hair Salon 69 Main Street in Sussex, Sussex United Methodist Church 15 Bank Street in Sussex, Tips & Toes 5 Loomis Avenue in Sussex, Simon Peter Sport Company 660 US Route 206 in Newton, Oxygen Personal Fitness Training 47 US Highway 206 in Augusta, The Perfect Gentleman Barber Shop 89 Hampton House Road in Newton, The Augusta Body Shop 89 Hampton House Road in Newton, and Track 7 Postal Center 3 Forester Avenue in Warwick.
